How do I determine my size?
BUST - Measure around the fullest part of your bust section. (Without wearing a padded bra)

WAIST - Measure around your natural waistline making certain you keep the measuring tape snug, but not extremely tight.

HIPS - Measure around the fullest part of your hips. This is approximately 8" below your waistline for Misses Sizes, or 7" for Petite Sizes.

How do I find my appropriate size after making my selection?

Reference the size chart for each manufacturer. The size charts are located at the bottom of every page under our Customer Service category.

Find the size that corresponds to your measurements and make your selection from the drop-down menu in each product description.

(Note) If your size is in-between - we recommend choosing the larger size. It is a lot easier for a seamstress to take a dress in than to let it out.

Record Your Sizes and reference them when making your selections.

Do you accept orders over the phone?
Yes. If you feel uncomfortable placing your order online we will be more than happy to accept your order over the phone. You will still receive the same online benefits such as order status, online tracking and payment confirmation.

Are the gowns you sell authentic?
Absolutely! Onlineformals.com is an authorized retailer for each designer we carry. We do not sell fake knock off dresses or any other product, as seen on many websites. We are Top Prom Website and Stop Fakes Website approved. We can also be found under the retailer section on the respective manufacturer websites. How long will it take for my order to arrive after making my purchase?
Shipping Policies

All in-stock merchandise will ship within 1-2 business days. Merchandise that is not in stock will be special ordered from the manufacturer. Once received it will ship out to the customer within 1-2 business days. (Several manufacturer's drop ship - meaning they will ship the order direct to you) in this instance you will be notified via e-mail and e-mailed and/or sent a copy of your receipt.

We are aware of customer wear dates and ask that you provide the exact wear date in your order. This information enables us to determine whether or not we can get the merchandise and deliver it to you by your specified time frame.

What if the item I order isn't in stock?
If the item you order isn't in our store stock, we will contact the manufacturer direct in attempt to special order the gown. If the gown is in stock at the manufacturer and we can assure ourselves we can deliver it to you by your wear date we will proceed with the order. In instances where the item is not available we will promptly contact you and offer an exhange for a similar product and/or process an immediate refund.

What if my package is lost or damaged during shipment?
If your package is lost or damaged during shipment we ask that you immediately contact us via phone. We will research the shipment with our carrier and immediately issue you a replacement.

What is your return policy?

Your satisfaction is important to us.


Onlineformals offers store credits on purchases (valid for a 1-year period) with the exception of the following items which are NOT returnable:


-Bridal Gowns

-Items Marked "Final Sale"

-Shoes

-Jewelry

-Undergarments

-Items purchased using a store credit from a previous return


We do not offer refunds and the conditions below must be met to process your return request:


You must e-mail us at returns@onlineformals.com within 5 days of receiving your item(s) and request a Return Authorization number. The subject must read RA Request. You must state the reason for your return in the message.

Your request will be reviewed and, if valid, you will be issued a Return Authorization number.

The merchandise must be mailed back within 3 days of receiving your Return Authorization number. *Please write your RA number on the outside of the box.

The merchandise must be sent back in the original packaging with all tags, hangers and receipts enclosed.

It is strongly suggested that you use UPS or Federal Express and ship your parcel fully insured. The United States Postal Service (Post Office) doesn't provide a point to point tracking service and is not recommended. *We are not responsible for any loss or damage of your returned shipment.

Upon receipt we will carefully inspect the merchandise for signs of wear to include: tears, snags, stains and odors. If the merchandise is damaged in any way it will be sent back at the buyers expense and we will not be able to provide store credit.

If the merchandise is received in new condition (as when shipped) we will provide a store credit for the amount of the item being returned less a $35.00 return fee. This fee covers our shipping costs associated with your new gown. If you need a more expedited method of shipment, please contact us for an express shipping price quote.

Store credits are valid for a period of one year from your original date of purchase. We will provide your store credit code via email. To redeem your store credit simply use the code at checkout when purchasing your new item.

Items purchased using a store credit are not returnable, meaning that once you receive your replacement item(s), it cannot be returned.

Any items sent back without a RA number will be sent back at the buyers expense.

Can I track my shipments online?
We forward via e-mail all package tracking information that is provided to us by the shipping carrier.

What is your Low Price Guarantee?
Should you find a lower price on the exact same item we carry in our online store - we will meet the price plus 5%. This applies only to in stock, non-sale, non-clearance merchandise from an authorized retailer.


The price must be verifiable by providing us with the URL of the exact same item being offered at a lower cost.


The Internet site must also have the companies full contact information clearly posted to include: Company Name, Address and Phone Number. There have been several reports of bogus/scam sites. Onlineformals.com is an Authorized verifiable retailer for each line we carry.


This offer doesn't apply to previously purchased merchandise and can't be combined with any current promotions.

Do you have a physical store location?
Yes. Our store is located at 1556 Laskin Road in Virginia Beach, VA

What is your layaway policy?
If you would like to place an item on layaway we require an initial 50% deposit at the time of order. The remaining balance will be due at the time of shipment.


Layaway items will be stored for a period of no more than 90 days. Should you fail to make final payment during that time your deposit will be forfeited.

Do you ship to international destinations?
Yes. We ship worldwide using Federal Express. This service provides fast international shipping with a point to point tracking service. Shipping charges are quoted on the website by placing an item in your shopping bag and proceeding to checkout. After your address is entered a real time shipping quote will display. We offer economy and priority services. Your shipping charge includes delivery only. Some international countries may charge a customs fee or duty tax. These are fees not charged by us, but rather your countries customs office. Should you have any questions regarding potential customs fees please contact your local customs office, or postal service.
Can I cancel my order after it has been placed on the site or via phone?
Once an order has been placed we immediately begin the fulfillment process with our warehouse, or the manufacturer. Orders can't be cancelled once placed on the site.
